Seeing connection errors or disconnects? Please contact support
We're seeing reports coming from a variety of sources that players are experiencing connection errors (007, 040) and being disconnected from the game. First we're very sorry about this situation at this particular time.
If you're affected by these issues, please submit a support ticket on the Support website:
https://guildwars.custhelp.com
Make sure to select the "Technical Support" category and "Connectivity" subcategory. This will ensure that we can consolidate data on this situation and take appropriate actions.
Thanks for your help.

When you hit 'ask a question' it will prompt you to pick a category, then a subcategory among else.

No, Senor Bond has been quite active in American districts as well. Although this may have resulted because I was attempting to join Rollerbeetle Racing games hosted on European servers.

so we should submit a report individually, 2-3 million reports...what are you gonna do about it? send an auto-response email 5 days later? Were telling you now, all the GW forum sites are reporting it, thousands of people have already sent error reports. You dont even have a live team thats paying attention, what are you gonna do the event is over and half the player base has missed the majority of it, say "sorry bad luck"? and you expect us to buy GW2, when you wont even support GW1?

Thats exactly what i said to them last night on the Facebook page, and they deleted the comment, the actually want 2-3million people to contact them, can you imagine what there support desk would look like if every euro play and some outside euro hit them up with this problem,
Kinda of wish i hadnt downloaded the 13Gb Beta Client now, as im not holding out much hope for this weekend with that either now.

Seriously? People think 2-3 million players are having trouble?
We have ONE player in our whole alliance that have had that trouble, and it is one of the biggest currently alive. I doubt the issue is as widespread as you make it out.

I wonder how many of those people experiencing disconnects were DLing the GW2 client while trying to play GW. I got DC'd a couple of times yesterday because of it. (007) DL complete - no worries.

No, the ally is mostly European players, including myself, and I nor they had trouble.
We do have ways of communicating outside of the game aswell, and it is quite easy to see how many that are online aka being able to login.

I can guarantee you this is not an exclusively European problem. Myself and most of my American alliance has been experiencing trouble logging in and staying logged in. This started a few days before the event kicked off.

I Had this on most of my characters. One in Surmia could not get in at all, one in GToB could connect eventually with repeated attempts, one in Pre-fort ranik connected first time but with a very long delay.
I changed one of the successful logged in characters to Anerican District (from Europe English) and now all characters can connect fine. Even the stuck one in Surmia.
And no, no downloads of anything going on.

This is ridiculous! I haven't been able to play now for two days, and all I get from support is some generic 'cut and paste' response that solves nothing.

God knows. I've just tried to log-in again, and guess what? Yes that's right, it's still giving me the finger with the 007 error.

Do you actually post good tickets? With as much information as possible? (ISP, other programs running, what you were doing, OS, computer, country) and so on?
The more info ArenaNet gets, the easier for them to localize the error and fix it.
Getting 10 reports saying: I CAN'T LOG IN PLEASE FIX!!!!!! won't help anyone.

Actually I think it does, it was my assumption that they wanted to know the extent of the problem, not the specifics.
